Lidl are proposing a new neighbourhood foodstore on land at Roundabout Farm, Thanet Way (A2990), Herne Bay. The site comprises a parcel of open land currently used for grazing, situated close to the roundabout junction of Thanet Way (A2990), Greenhill Road and Greenhill Bridge Road.
As part of our ongoing commitment to public consultation, we are delighted to be able to provide members of the local community with an overview of our exciting development proposals. This website provides links to our planning application that has been submitted to Canterbury City Council.
We would like to thank everyone who attended our public consultation event on Thursday 5th October at St Peter’s Church Hall. The event allowed local residents and other interested parties the chance to offer their opinion and suggestions while learning more about the development.
Should you decide to support the Lidl proposal, or simply wish to get in touch to discuss the application, please follow the above links.
- Provision of a new 1,325m² (sales area) neighbourhood foodstore;
- 125 car parking spaces including 7 Disabled and 8 Parent & Child spaces; and
- Creation of up to 40 jobs for local residents.
